The Conceptual Master Layout Plan for the 152 acres Township The Empyrean was designed with the following in mind:
One main wide boulevard road snakes throughout the Site, ensuring a strong internal connectivity between all neighborhoods;
Different housing typologies (detached, semi-detached, row houses, apartments will be concentrated in small neighborhoods dispersed across the Site, to retain the small scale feel of a village;
Each neighborhood is set up as an enclave that will have its own entrance point to control traffic movement within the neighborhoods and increase security;
Neighborhood Retail (aimed at residents of The Empyrean only) will be evenly distributed in small pockets around the township, ensuring all residents have neighborhood shops located within walking distance of their home;
Long and narrow Finger-parks forming a continuous network of green spaces ensuring that residents can walk, jog or cycle from one neighborhood to another throughout a largely green park setting;
The riverfront along River Wena will be treasured as an unique natural feature and become the focus of a central open park area;
Large scale commercial facilities that will aim at residents from the Township and residents from all over Nagpur, will be concentrated in one area closest to the Outer Ring road and can be accessed seperately from the rest of the Township;
The Architecture theming takes its inspiration from the concept of the Township as an Suburban Oasis: a place where the design of the buildings should mitigate the hot weather in the summer months.
